Titan Flex Return & Refund Policy

Effective Date: 12 May 2026

At Titan Flex, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase while also ensuring fair use of our products and policies. This Return & Refund Policy complies with applicable South African consumer protection laws, including the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (“CPA”) and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (“ECTA”).

1. Returns for Defective or Faulty Products

If a product is defective, damaged, unsafe, or not fit for its intended purpose, you may return it within 6 months from the date of delivery in accordance with Section 56 of the CPA.

Titan Flex reserves the right to inspect and test the product before approving a refund, replacement, or repair.

If the product is confirmed to be defective due to manufacturing fault, you may choose:

  • A repair
  • A replacement
  • A refund

The following will not qualify as defects:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage caused by misuse, negligence, improper care, or incorrect use
  • Damage caused by excessive weight loading or misuse during training
  • Cosmetic damage caused after delivery
  • Products altered, modified, or repaired by anyone not authorised by Titan Flex
  • Minor variations in colour, finish, or packaging that do not affect product functionality

Products used contrary to instructions or beyond their intended training purpose will void eligibility for return under this section.


2. Change-of-Mind Returns

Due to the nature of fitness and personal-use products, Titan Flex does not generally offer refunds or exchanges for:

  • Buyer’s remorse
  • Incorrect product selection by the customer
  • Change of mind after purchase
  • Products no longer wanted

However, for eligible online purchases, customers may request a return within 7 days of delivery in terms of the ECTA cooling-off provisions, provided:

  • The product is unused
  • The product is in original packaging
  • All tags, accessories, manuals, and components are included
  • The item is in resellable condition

In such cases:

  • The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs
  • Original delivery fees are non-refundable
  • Titan Flex may charge a reasonable handling/restocking fee where permitted by law
  • Refunds will only be processed after inspection and approval of the returned item

3. Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene, safety, and quality-control reasons, the following items may not be returned unless defective:

  • Resistance bands showing signs of use
  • Gym hooks or grip accessories with visible wear
  • Opened wearable fitness accessories
  • Clearance, sale, promotional, or discontinued items
  • Gift cards or vouchers

Titan Flex reserves the right to refuse returns where products are not returned in original condition.


4. Condition of Returned Products

Returned items must:

  • Include proof of purchase
  • Be returned in original packaging where reasonably possible
  • Not be intentionally damaged
  • Be properly packaged to avoid transit damage

Titan Flex is not responsible for items damaged during return shipping due to insufficient packaging by the customer.


5. Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method where possible.

Please allow:

  • 5–10 business days for inspection and processing
  • Additional time depending on banks or payment providers

Shipping fees, courier insurance, customs charges, and optional delivery upgrades are non-refundable unless required by law.


6. Exchanges

Exchanges are subject to product availability.

If a replacement item is unavailable, Titan Flex may:

  • Offer store credit
  • Offer an equivalent replacement
  • Process a refund where legally required

7. Incorrect Orders

If Titan Flex sends the incorrect product, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

We will arrange collection and replacement at no additional cost, provided the item remains unused and in original condition.


8. Chargebacks & Fraud Prevention

Titan Flex reserves the right to:

  • Refuse service in cases of suspected fraud or abuse
  • Request additional verification before processing refunds
  • Decline returns where false defect claims are identified

Fraudulent chargebacks or abuse of this policy may result in account restrictions and legal action where applicable.
